Work Requirement:
Wood floor restoration to a living room and dining room solid oak floor in a rental property. The property developer had been let down by another contractor who was to carry out the work on agreed days as part of a restoration project which was now going to delay the next phase
Work Activity:
A minor repair had to be carried out to one board which was loose leading from the dining room to the kitchen
The overall condition of both floors was dirty with scratches and dark worn areas
We used the Pallmann Spider rotary machine with various grits of sanding paper discs to sand the floors and the Rotex for all of the edges
Once the sanding had been completed, we applied two coats of Pallmann Magic Oil with added hardener leaving the floors with a good finish and making them hard wearing too
Conclusion:
We supplied a Pallmann Clean and Go cleaning system for the tenant to use and recommended a maintenance programme for the rental property
