Two-year warranty on the finish used on your wooden floors.

As Pallmann Parkettprofi approved contractors we offer a 2-year manufacturer’s guarantee on the finish. You do not have to worry about your wooden floor as you have a guarantee in place and if something is wrong we will return immediately to look into it.

If we detect an issue, we will do our best to rectify this ourselves. If the issue is bigger, a Pallmann manufacturer representative will come over to do a more detailed inspection and advise on the best solution.  Silver Lining Floor Care is a hassle-free choice for your wood floors.

How long before we can walk on the finished wooden floor?

There are mainly 2 types of finish, lacquer, and oil. Lacquer finishes require primer which needs a few hours of drying time before any foot traffic is allowed and several hours after lacquer is applied. It can take up to 7-10 days for the lacquer to be fully cured. The oil we use is Pallmann Magic Oil, if used with no color, requires only 4 hours before light traffic is allowed, and it is fully cured after only 12 hours. The only benefit of having the lacquer over the oil is if you would like to have a shiny finish, or if your timber cannot take oil.
